Finance Sub-Controllership Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Sub-Controllership Lead to drive accounting excellence across our Bengaluru and Gurugram operations. You will lead cross‑functional teams, ensure compliance with IFRS/IAS and local regulations, and provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, including preparation of periodic financial statements, reports and statutory disclosures.
• Ensure books comply with GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Manage timely closure of internal and external audits and filing of statutory reports.
• Assess risk and control environments, implementing robust controls for payroll, vendor payments, collections, and asset management.
• Collaborate with payroll, operations, treasury, taxation and other functions to optimize cash flow and payment processes.
• Lead monthly close activities, deliver accurate variance analysis and support strategic decision‑making.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and automation.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
• 3–8 years of experience in a similar finance or controllership role.
• Proven ability to work effectively in large, cross‑functional teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
