Finance Manager (Mumbai based only)

About the role

We are seeking a high‑calibre Finance Manager to own financial planning, reporting, accounting, and business finance functions for our Mumbai office. The role is hands‑on, analytical and requires close interaction with senior leadership in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, dashboards and management presentations.
• Track revenue, expenses, cash flow, receivables, payables and working capital.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and build financial models for strategic decisions.
• Analyse performance against budgets, identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee accounting processes, ensure accurate books, and coordinate audits and tax compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Partner with leadership on new business opportunities, M&A, fundraising and other strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Big 4 audit, transaction advisory, investment banking, family office or a reputable finance firm.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, handle confidential information and interact with senior stakeholders.
