Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the day‑to‑day financial operations of the R&D function, providing management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and deep financial analysis. The role partners closely with R&D leaders to deliver actionable insights, improve financial discipline and support strategic decision‑making in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end annual planning cycle for the function, including calendars, templates, cost definitions and the consolidated plan.
• Build scenario and sensitivity models that inform investment, headcount and procurement decisions.
• Challenge business assumptions with R&D and product leaders and quantify financial consequences of alternatives.
• Set reporting standards, cost definitions and analytical tooling for recurring reporting and analysis.
• Improve the control environment, data integrity and automation for planning and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field (required).
• Professional qualification such as CA, CFA or MBA (required).
• 10+ years of overall finance or accounting experience, including 3 years of FP&A ownership.
• At least 2 years supporting an R&D, engineering or product organization.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets, and ERP/financial reporting systems.
• Scenario and sensitivity modeling for strategic decisions.
• BI and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau (preferred).
