Finance Manager – Chartered Accountant

About the role

The Finance Manager (Chartered Accountant) will lead the accounting and financial operations for Subway India in Mumbai. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and strategic financial insights to support the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger management, month‑end and year‑end closing, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cash‑flow management to enable data‑driven decision making.
• Plan and ensure compliance with all tax obligations and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, maintain and enhance internal control frameworks.
• Partner with operations, franchise and corporate teams to provide financial analysis and recommendations.
• Identify and implement process improvements and risk‑mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and Indian taxation.
• Proven experience in finance and accounting within retail, QSR, FMCG or other multi‑location businesses.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and cash‑flow analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
