Finance Manager – Banking Operations

About the role

The Finance Manager will support the SVP Finance in overseeing financial control, regulatory compliance, and administration for QNB’s operations in India. This role combines hands‑on reporting, vendor management, and performance monitoring to ensure the bank meets both local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file statutory returns for the Central Bank and other regulators.
• Assist in the preparation of daily balance‑sheet, profit & loss statements, and MIS packs for Group Financial Control.
• Manage vendor payments, invoice processing, accruals, pre‑payments and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and performance targets.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and coordinate external audit activities.
• Reconcile Nostro accounts, track long‑outstanding items and report exceptions.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience, preferably in the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of Central Bank regulatory reporting and direct/indirect tax compliance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
