Finance Manager – Accounts Payable (Multi‑Country)

About the role

The Manager, Accounts Payable will lead Nium's centralized finance function in Mumbai, overseeing vendor payments, multi‑country payroll, statutory and indirect tax compliance, cash‑flow reporting, ledger reconciliations and expense analytics for 15 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end processing of vendor invoices, approvals and payments across all group entities.
• Coordinate payroll disbursements with local HR teams and produce monthly employee cost analysis.
• Manage withholding tax, GST/VAT and other indirect tax filings, reconciling tax challans with the general ledger.
• Consolidate monthly cash‑flow statements and own month‑end reconciliation of AP‑related ledgers.
• Act as primary owner for audit queries related to AP, payroll, taxes and advances at both entity and group level.

Required profile

• 6–9 years of progressive responsibility in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations or Controllership.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Proven experience managing multi‑country AP, payroll accounting and statutory compliance.

Required skills

• Strong command of ERP systems, specifically NetSuite and Oracle.
• Solid understanding of indirect taxes (GST, VAT, Sales Tax) and withholding tax across APAC, EMEA or Americas.
• Experience with payroll tools, expense management platforms and procurement systems.
