Finance Executive

About the role

The Finance Executive will support Marriott International’s finance function at our Vagator Beach location, ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of transactions. This role combines routine accounting tasks with analytical responsibilities to help maintain financial integrity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents.
• Record, store, and analyze computerized financial information using journals and ledgers.
• Prepare, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, and payroll reports.
• Execute period‑end closing procedures and generate required reports.
• Prepare, reconcile, and issue invoices and account statements.
• Follow up on past‑due accounts and vendor invoices until resolved.
• Collaborate with other departments, mentor team members, and ensure tasks meet quality standards.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain confidentiality, and promote a professional work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Professional communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.

• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
