Finance Controller – NBFC/Fintech (Gurgaon)

About the role

indiagold is building a next‑generation gold‑backed lending platform and is transitioning into a full‑fledged NBFC. We are looking for a technically strong and commercially aware Finance Controller to own the controllership function and help shape the finance architecture for rapid scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, ensuring accurate accounting, reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with Ind AS and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee journal entries, provisions, accruals, and accounting for lending‑related income such as interest, fees, penalties and EIR.
• Manage Ind AS 109 accounting, including Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and financial instrument reporting.
• Produce management MIS and partner with FP&A for performance analysis.
• Handle RBI regulatory reporting, NPA classification, provisioning, capital adequacy and other prudential requirements.
• Reconcile loan management system data with general ledger, ensuring accuracy of loan balances, interest, repayments and write‑offs.
• Support the CFO during RBI inspections and implement regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – mandatory.
• 7–12 years of post‑qualification experience in NBFC, fintech, lending, banking or financial services.
• Strong expertise in Ind AS, taxation, audit and RBI regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with loan‑related accounting, provisioning and financial controls.
