Finance Controller – Mumbai (Goregaon)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead our finance function for a reputable client in Mumbai (Goregaon). You will be responsible for ensuring financial compliance, driving strategic initiatives, and providing insightful analysis to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations and manage the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Stay current with financial regulations, standards, and company law to maintain compliance.
• Prepare and file required reports and documents for regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on financial matters.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support growth and long‑term sustainability.
• Monitor financial performance, identify improvement areas, and optimize cost efficiency.
• Analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports to assess health.
• Present financial information to senior management, board members, and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (Master's/CA a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and company law.
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong presentation abilities.
• Strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
