Finance Controller – Lead Financial Operations

About the role

Yubi Markets, a high‑growth fintech subsidiary of Yubi Group, is looking for a Finance Controller to lead financial operations for its Yubi Wealth business. Reporting to the Finance Head, you will own subsidiary‑level reporting, drive month‑end close, and ensure compliance with Ind‑AS and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements and subsidiary‑level reports under Ind‑AS.
• Drive month‑end/quarter‑end close processes and consolidation reporting to group finance.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls, compliance frameworks, and statutory filings (Companies Act, GST, TDS, corporate tax, FEMA where applicable).
• Oversee accounting operations including GL, reconciliations, inter‑company transactions, and revenue recognition for structured finance products.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor relationships, and cash‑flow optimization.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, address audit findings, and continuously improve internal financial controls.
• Optimize ERP processes and financial reporting systems, driving automation and operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate a finance team of 2‑5 professionals, fostering career development.
• Develop subsidiary KPIs, dashboards, and financial analytics for senior management.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5‑7 years of finance operations experience.
• Background in Big 4, fintech, or growth‑stage companies.
• Proven ability to manage accounting, reporting, and compliance in a fast‑growing environment.
• Experience leading a small finance team and collaborating with group finance on consolidated reporting.
