Finance Controller

About the role

Rabitat is seeking a Finance Controller to build a robust, technology‑driven finance function while partnering closely with the business. The role will oversee financial control, reporting, marketplace finance, ERP automation, compliance and treasury, and lead a high‑performing finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly financial close within T+10 to T+15 and produce MIS, financial statements, variance analysis and management reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow and working‑capital optimization.
• Reconcile settlements across Amazon, FirstCry, Quick Commerce and other marketplaces; handle receivables, deductions, claims and payment reconciliations.
• Lead ERP implementation or migration (ERPNext, SAP B1, Odoo, NetSuite, Unicommerce or similar) and drive automation of AP and finance workflows.
• Reduce manual Excel dependency through technology and process improvements.
• Ensure GST, TDS, PF, ESI, ROC and other statutory compliance; coordinate internal, statutory and tax audits.
• Manage banking relationships, treasury activities, cash‑flow and working‑capital requirements.
• Support investor reporting, board MIS, CMA data and due‑diligence processes.
• Lead, develop and mentor a finance team, fostering accountability and disciplined reporting.

Required profile

• Strong experience in finance controllership, FP&A and business finance.
• Hands‑on experience with D2C, e‑commerce or marketplace finance.
• Proven exposure to ERP implementation and finance automation projects.
• Deep understanding of GST, audits, compliance and treasury functions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale finance teams.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to partner with business leadership.

Required skills

• ERP implementation/migration experience (ERPNext, SAP B1, Odoo, NetSuite, Unicommerce or similar).
• Automation of accounts‑payable and finance workflows.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
