Finance Controller

About the role

We are seeking a highly driven Finance Controller to lead finance and operational functions for our India and US entities. The role ensures financial integrity, statutory compliance, payroll administration, and provides executive financial support while enabling data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounting and finance operations for India and US entities, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations and cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports and executive dashboards.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and develop KPIs for senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, MCA) and coordinate US federal and state compliance.
• Manage statutory and tax audits, internal financial policies and governance.
• Oversee payroll processing in India and coordinate US payroll activities, ensuring statutory deductions and reimbursements.
• Partner with HR on compensation structures, benefits and employee financial administration.
• Handle vendor onboarding, contracts, procurement and payment cycles, optimizing operational expenses.
• Support CEO operations with financial analysis, strategic insights and business planning.
• Leverage AI tools to automate finance workflows, build AI‑assisted dashboards and promote data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• CA, CMA, CPA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 3‑5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting and business operations.
• Experience managing finance across multiple legal entities, preferably India and the US.
