Finance Controller

About the role

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. is seeking a Finance Controller to lead financial controllership for its IPDO (Integrated Pharma Development Operations) plants. The role will ensure accurate month‑end closing, statutory compliance and robust reporting while providing insights for cost optimisation and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial closing, provisioning, and reporting for IPDO plants.
• Review financial statements and notes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and IGAAP.
• Drive MIS reporting, budget vs. actual analysis and monthly LE submissions with actionable insights.
• Manage annual operating expense budgeting in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead capex governance, including proposal evaluation, tracking and spend optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, SOX and audit requirements, strengthening internal controls.
• Promote process automation and cost optimisation to support R&D operations.

Required profile

• Strong experience in financial controllership within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, IGAAP and SOX compliance.
• Proven ability to lead month‑end close, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on delivering actionable business insights.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across cross‑functional teams.
