Finance Controller

About the role

Broadway is building a modern retail experience and needs a Finance Controller to strengthen compliance, governance and financial reporting while supporting rapid growth. The role combines day‑to‑day bookkeeping with strategic analysis and process automation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closes, including journal entries, provisions and reconciliations.
• Handle GST calculations, reconciliations, return filings and respond to notices or assessments.
• Lead statutory, internal and tax audit coordination, preparing schedules and ensuring compliance with IND AS.
• Develop and enforce finance policies, SOPs and internal control frameworks.
• Prepare MIS, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis; produce investor reports and management presentations.
• Drive finance process improvements and automation, reducing manual effort through ERP enhancements.

Required profile

• CA qualification with 2–7 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience in GST compliance and filing.
• Experience in startup, retail, e‑commerce or technology‑driven environments is preferred.
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability and ownership attitude.
