Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will oversee all financial activities of an Accor hotel, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and best practice accounting standards. This role supports the General Manager and department heads in delivering accurate financial reporting and effective cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and supported accounting records in line with Accor policies.
• Implement local accounting procedures to meet government regulations.
• Prepare, analyse and present financial statements and management reports.
• Audit hotel accounts, records and transactions, and improve internal control processes.
• Safeguard hotel assets through robust fixed‑asset, inventory and cash‑management controls.
• Coordinate materials management, purchasing and resource allocation to optimise costs.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis with the General Manager and heads of division.
• Administer credit, collection, tax compliance and obtain necessary licences.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure legal compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or hospitality finance management.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with senior management and cross‑functional teams.
