Finance Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead finance operations for our Bangalore office. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, and partnering with business leaders to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end management reporting for the business unit.
• Ensure financial results are accurate, complete, and consistent.
• Review and validate monthly close activities, including revenue recognition, cost allocations, accruals, and provisions.
• Analyse financial performance, explain variances versus budget/forecast, and provide insight‑driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with business leaders and cross‑functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and business analysis.
• Support finance transformation initiatives, reporting optimisation, and implementation of new financial systems and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial controls.
• Experience with accounting tools and ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and business partnering capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
