Finance Controller – Full-Time (Premium Institute Required)

About the role

The Finance Controller will act as the financial backbone for our Destination Management Company (DMC) operations across multiple regions, including Thailand, Bali, Vietnam, Singapore, Maldives, and Europe. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will own the end‑to‑end financial function, ensuring every booking, vendor contract, and sales commission is captured accurately and profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate multi‑currency P&L statements and present monthly business reviews to senior leadership.
• Monitor destination‑level margins, markup compliance, and profitability KPIs in partnership with operations heads.
• Manage vendor payment schedules, advance settlements, and credit terms across all locations.
• Oversee booking‑level revenue recognition, integrating data from Salesforce, Sembark, Tally, and Eprompt into financial reports.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly re‑forecasting for each destination vertical, providing variance analysis.
• Design and enforce internal financial controls, including approval matrices, expense policies, and SOPs for cash advances.
• Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, FEMA, income‑tax filings, and ROC requirements.
• Supervise accounts payable/receivable cycles, meeting turnaround benchmarks for agent collections and vendor disbursements.
• Evaluate pricing models for group tours, FIT packages, and MICE, offering margin guidance to sales and operations teams.
• Prepare monthly MIS, calculate incentives for the DMC operations team, and coordinate audit readiness with external auditors and banks.

Required profile

• MBA in Finance from a premium institute.
• 3‑4 years of post‑qualification experience in finance or accounting, preferably within travel, tourism, or multi‑destination operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to manage multi‑currency financials and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, scenario modelling, dynamic dashboards).
• Experience with financial data integration from Salesforce, Sembark, Tally, and Eprompt.
