Finance Controller (Chartered Accountant)

About the role

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant to lead and scale the finance function for a fast‑growing crypto investment platform and its B2B payments brand. The Finance Controller will own the end‑to‑end financial close, reporting and governance across multiple jurisdictions (India, US, Dubai, Canada) while driving automation and process transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end month‑end and year‑end financial close process
• Drive financial and management reporting
• Oversee balance sheet governance and reconciliations
• Develop and strengthen accounting policies, controls and compliance processes
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors and regulatory stakeholders
• Establish and monitor revenue, expense and working capital controls
• Drive MIS and business reporting
• Build and improve finance processes, systems and governance frameworks
• Lead cross‑functional finance initiatives and process improvement projects
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability of the finance function
• Lead finance transformation and automation from problem identification to solution design, implementation and impact measurement

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification
• 5–7 years of relevant finance/accounting experience
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions (India, US, Dubai, Canada)
• Ability to think independently, lead a team and solve complex problems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with senior leadership
• Hands‑on exposure to international entities, cross‑border operations and various accounting frameworks
