Finance Compliance Manager – Technology & Data

About the role

The Finance Compliance Manager (Technology & Data) supports finance transformation initiatives by ensuring robust compliance governance across SAP-enabled processes, data, and technology changes. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the role focuses on ICFR, SOX, and IT General Controls within SAP S/4HANA implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Support finance transformation compliance governance for SAP-driven initiatives, focusing on technology, system configuration, and data risks.
• Translate enterprise ICFR, SOX, and ITGC frameworks into specific compliance requirements for SAP S/4HANA and related technologies.
• Lead technology‑focused risk assessments, including SAP application risks, ITGC, and data integrity considerations.
• Provide guidance on SAP configurations, workflows, and system‑enabled controls to ensure alignment with internal control and SOX requirements.
• Define compliance expectations for system interfaces, source‑to‑target controls, error handling, and reconciliation mechanisms.
• Review and challenge program‑level compliance artifacts related to SAP and IT controls.
• Supervise technology and data‑related compliance risks across transformation initiatives and escalate material risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 8+ years of finance experience, preferably in large‑scale system transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of financial and IT internal controls, SOX 404, US GAAP, IFRS, and supply‑chain environments.
• Experience working in multi‑ERP environments; SAP S/4HANA experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed organization.
