Finance Compliance Manager – IMFT Transformation

About the role

The Finance Compliance Manager will lead compliance governance for Innovative Medicines Finance transformation initiatives within an assigned value stream. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the role ensures that ICFR, SOX, and internal control requirements are embedded in large‑scale system and SAP projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a compliance governance framework tailored to finance transformation initiatives.
• Translate enterprise ICFR and SOX frameworks into practical requirements for individual programs.
• Act as primary compliance liaison, ensuring early integration of compliance into program planning.
• Coordinate risk assessments, control design, and compliance deliverables across technology, process, and data changes.
• Mentor program teams on internal controls, data integrity, and interface assurance.
• Review and challenge program‑level compliance outputs to ensure alignment with standards.
• Escalate material gaps, delays, or emerging risks to the Senior Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
• 6‑8 years of finance experience, preferably in large system transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of financial and IT internal controls, SOX 404, US GAAP, and IFRS.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations from a compliance standpoint.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed, multi‑ERP environment and provide people leadership.
