Finance & Accounts Trainee (TM)

About the role

We are looking for a Finance & Accounts Trainee (TM) who will rotate across multiple finance functions to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business operations in the energy and agriculture sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify control and process deficiencies and propose corrective actions.
• Support process improvements, including automation of manual tasks.
• Coordinate with mentors to deliver required outputs on time.
• Handle Accounts Payable tasks using SAP for data entry, vessel berthing, product handling and basic insurance knowledge.
• Manage Accounts Receivable by preparing statutory‑compliant invoices, recording TDS, reconciling ledgers, preparing MIS and AR reports, and addressing customer queries.
• Prepare and analyse MIS for the Energy/Agri division, identify revenue leakages and suggest improvements.
• Assist with tax and compliance activities such as GST & IT MIS, transfer pricing, GST returns, Companies Act compliance and TDS filings.
• Support basic forex operations, contract standardisation, TP audit assistance and shipping documentation review.

Required profile

• First attempt CA qualification with 2‑3 years of relevant finance, accounts or taxation experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under guidance.
• Team‑player, goal‑oriented and quick learner.
