Field Trainer – Dental Sales Coaching

About the role

The Field Capability & Sales Trainer will develop a high‑performing, scientifically credible medical representative (MR) field force for Colgate‑Palmolive’s oral‑care portfolio. This hands‑on role blends classroom knowledge with real‑world coaching, spending most of the week alongside reps in dental clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Travel with Medical Representatives across assigned territories (approximately four days per week) to observe live detailing sessions with dentists, periodontists, and dental hygienists.
• Conduct dual‑calls, providing real‑time feedback and course corrections on scientific detailing, clinical trial data, and product mechanisms of action.
• Assess and improve reps’ ability to communicate Colgate’s clinical evidence and brand benefits effectively.
• Bridge the gap between classroom training and field execution, ensuring evidence‑based messaging drives brand recommendation.

Required profile

• Strong background in dental or medical sales, with hands‑on experience interacting with dental professionals.
• Proven coaching or training ability, comfortable delivering feedback in fast‑paced field environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of clinical science related to oral‑care products.

Required skills

• Knowledge of clinical trial methodology and interpretation.
• Ability to articulate product mechanisms of action and scientific evidence.
