Field Specialist III – Coiled Tubing Engineer

About the role

As a Field Specialist III you will support Baker Hughes customers by overseeing the safe and efficient operation of coiled tubing equipment on offshore and onshore sites. You will take ownership of equipment checks, documentation, and execution of contracted scopes while ensuring health, safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and approve coiled tubing deployment and recovery procedures.
• Preserve coil strings between deployments and offshore campaigns.
• Operate CIRCA/CYCLE program for fatigue cycle monitoring.
• Develop inspection and test plans for pull‑test verification on injector heads.
• Supervise pre‑mobilization activities, select equipment and perform function testing.
• Control overall coiled tubing operations at offshore/onshore work sites.
• Enter job data, perform calculations, simulations and record results.
• Prepare detailed coiled tubing procedures and job programs.
• Identify sales opportunities and ensure budget targets are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 4 years experience with coiled tubing operations.
• Prior experience as a CT Engineer or in CT job design (clean‑out, acidisation, nitrogen lift, fishing).
• General knowledge of slickline and eline well‑service operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
