Field Service Engineer – Optimization (North & East Region)

About the role

Join Armstrong Fluid Technology as a Field Service Engineer focused on optimization for the North and East regions of India. You will be responsible for commissioning and after‑sales support of IPS/IPC control panels, ensuring high customer satisfaction while adhering to service guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the assigned territory, delivering commissioning and after‑sales service for IPS/IPC controls.
• Collaborate with internal departments, OEMs, and authorized service providers to improve service operations.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of service tasks and maintain clear communication with customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers, reps, OEMs, and mechanical contractors.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports on commissioning and after‑sales activities.
• Provide warranty service support and coordinate with the factory quality team on field failures.
• Conduct training for regional representatives on product upgrades and new releases.
• Generate service billing and work toward achieving annual billing targets.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Communication Engineering.
• 5–7 years of hands‑on field service experience in HVAC, pump or building‑automation industries.
• Strong knowledge of pumps and controls for HVAC and fire‑protection applications.
• Hands‑on experience with electronic control panels in HVAC/building‑automation.
• Creative problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis and clear recommendation skills.
• Team‑oriented leadership with a bias for action.
• Self‑directed, able to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Excellent open and authentic communication abilities.
