Field Service Engineer – Guwahati

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing oil and gas equipment at retail outstations such as petrol pumps in Guwahati. The role involves on‑site work, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on fuel dispensers and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues on site.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients to maximise operational safety and efficiency.
• Ensure all work complies with industry safety standards and identify potential hazards.
• Maintain detailed service records, maintenance schedules, and generate reports for management.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on equipment and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and project managers to prioritise tasks and resolve issues promptly.
• Follow company policies related to quality, health, safety, and environmental protection.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma/BTech in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Prior field service experience in a similar industry (oil & gas, fuel dispensing).
• Ability to work independently on‑site and handle customer interactions.

Required skills

• Technical installation and commissioning.
• Troubleshooting of oil and gas equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of fuel dispensing systems.
