Field Engineer – Power Distribution (Electrical Engineer)

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Field Engineer – Distribution to support power distribution projects. The role involves on‑site supervision, coordination with project teams, and ensuring timely delivery of distribution activities while adhering to budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise field activities and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Conduct engineering design under the guidance of senior engineers, producing calculations, sketches, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
• Collect and analyze project data, using computer software to solve basic engineering problems.
• Ensure work is performed within agreed budget and schedule.
• Develop analytic and design skills through hands‑on project involvement.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the power distribution sector.
• Experience with DISCOM or similar government power projects is preferred.
