Fellow – Business-Society Relations

About the role
The Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP) is seeking a Fellow to lead its newly launched Programme on Business‑Society Relations. Based in New Delhi, the Fellow will shape the research agenda, collaborate with senior scholars, and generate evidence‑based insights on how Indian corporates engage with societal expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Design and steer the research programme in partnership with the Senior Fellow.
- Lead and coordinate multiple research streams, co‑author studies, and oversee research analysts.
- Produce high‑quality research outputs for publications, workshops, and an annual flagship event.
- Represent CSEP at scholarly conferences, policy forums, and engage with national and global thought leaders.
- Contribute to public discourse on corporate governance, strategy, and accountability.
Required profile
- Advanced degree in economics, public policy, business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in independent research and policy analysis.
- Strong track record of publishing scholarly work on corporate governance or related topics.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
