F&B Service Associate

About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Associate provides attentive service to guests at The St. Regis Mumbai, ensuring a seamless dining experience through prompt food and beverage delivery, accurate order handling, and courteous guest interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer menu‑related questions and communicate special dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks for payment.
• Check guest satisfaction throughout the service and address any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and service stations.
• Complete closing duties such as restocking, turning off lights, and securing the area.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.
• Assist guests with disabilities and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
