Fashion Faculty (Full‑time Lecturer)

About the role

JD Institute of Fashion Technology is seeking three full‑time Fashion Faculty members for its Hyderabad campus. The role involves teaching, mentoring and guiding students across textile science, fashion merchandising, marketing, management and research methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures, studio sessions and practical workshops aligned with the institute’s curriculum.
• Demonstrate design techniques, supervise student projects and portfolio development.
• Assess student performance, maintain academic records and contribute to grading.
• Participate in curriculum development, juries, exhibitions and seminars.
• Collaborate with industry partners to facilitate internships, placements and real‑world projects.
• Attend faculty meetings and institute initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Fashion Design, Textiles or Apparel.
• Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise.
• Effective communication and mentoring abilities.
• Prior teaching or industry experience is preferred.
