Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join Siemens Healthineers as a Facilities Maintenance Technician and support the reliable operation of mechanical and electrical systems in a fast‑paced, innovative healthcare environment. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment to ensure continuous plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment such as conveyors, stretch wrappers, and carton erectors.
• Perform general and preventive maintenance on building, grounds, office, and warehouse equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machinery.
• Assist with equipment installations, complete work orders, and order necessary materials and parts.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and participate in plant safety and accident‑prevention programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2‑5 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and problem‑solving aptitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, layouts, and equipment manuals.
• Experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in an industrial setting.
• Capability to lift up to 75 lb, work at heights up to 45 ft, and operate in refrigerated or extreme‑cold environments.
