About the role

We are looking for an experienced South Indian cook to prepare authentic South Indian cuisine while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing traditional breakfast and lunch items and be capable of managing kitchen operations efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of authentic South Indian dishes, including breakfast, lunch, and snack items.
• Plan daily menus and oversee food preparation.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all food items.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen sanitation.
• Monitor food inventory and coordinate with the purchasing team for timely procurement of ingredients.
• Minimize food wastage by following proper storage and inventory management practices.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance requirements.
• Maintain proper portion control and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a South Indian cook/chef in a restaurant, hotel, or catering service.
• Proven ability to handle high‑volume food production.
