Executive Procurement

About the role

The Executive Procurement role is responsible for managing strategic sourcing and procurement activities for indirect categories within a manufacturing environment. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure timely acquisition of materials, services and capital projects while driving cost efficiencies and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and manage supplier relationships to guarantee quality, reliability and on‑time delivery.
• Prepare, issue and monitor purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accurate documentation.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and commercial conditions to achieve cost optimisation without compromising service levels.
• Gather market intelligence, benchmark suppliers and support new product development initiatives.
• Draft, review and administer contracts and sub‑contractor agreements in line with legal and organisational standards.
• Maintain procurement records, ensure regulatory compliance and manage supply‑chain risk.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality teams to align procurement actions with business objectives.
• Produce procurement reports, KPIs and performance analyses to inform strategic decisions.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in sourcing and vendor management within a structured procurement setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SAP MM and a solid understanding of Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes.
