Executive PMO – Banking

About the role

Capco is seeking an Executive PMO to lead governance and reporting for banking transformation programmes. The role will act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders, ensuring clear communication of status, risks and decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Directors, Managing Directors and Executive Sponsors, providing data‑driven insights and briefing notes.
• Plan, coordinate and facilitate Steering Committees, Executive Governance Boards and Programme Reviews, delivering governance packs and tracking actions to closure.
• Design and maintain advanced Excel dashboards using formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot and VBA to deliver executive‑level reporting.
• Manage programme plans, RAID logs, milestones and financial tracking while ensuring adherence to PMO standards.

Required profile

• 15+ years of PMO, programme or portfolio governance experience, preferably in financial services.
• Proven experience supporting C‑suite stakeholders and leading senior governance forums.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and executive communication skills.

Required skills

• Expert‑level Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA/macros).
• Advanced PowerPoint presentation creation for board‑level decks.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for visual analytics.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet or Clarity.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or Scrum.
