Executive N – Project Sales Manager

About the role

The Executive N – Project Sales role is a frontline sales manager position responsible for driving project sales across multiple segments in Cuttack, Odisha. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders such as builders, architects and consultants, while expanding the network of applicators for Asian Paints.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct planning and analysis for all project‑sales segments and prepare growth plans.
• Identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives to increase market share in key accounts, segments, geographies and products.
• Design and run interventions to upgrade customers on high‑end premium products.
• Develop and nurture relationships with applicators through loyalty clubs, promotions and business‑development activities.
• Expand the number of loyal applicators and improve their engagement.
• Improve market practices to enhance customer experience, including contractor professionalisation and use of automated tools.
• Liaise with the marketing function for feedback, activations and competitive tracking.
• Integrate with Retail, Services and Commercial teams to ensure lead generation, timely service and cost‑effective freight.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to estimate stock requirements and ensure material availability.
• Monitor input utilisation within permissible limits and manage the immediate team’s growth.

Required profile

• MBA or PGDM in Sales and Marketing from a Tier II B‑School.
• Minimum 50 % marks throughout education with no backlogs.
• Full‑time graduation and post‑graduation degrees.
• Strong customer focus and ability to understand primary and secondary sales dynamics.
• Proven capability to nurture and manage networks of stakeholders.
