Executive Maintenance and Repair

About the role

The Executive Maintenance and Repair professional will join the Engineering team at APM Terminals to coordinate maintenance and repair activities for container handling and material handling equipment. The role ensures preventive and scheduled checks are performed, breakdowns are addressed quickly, and all activities comply with HSSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, scheduled, and breakdown maintenance on container handling equipment, material handling equipment, compressors, fire‑hydrant systems, trucks and facilities.
• Manage inventory of spares and consumables, and coordinate timely procurement with the purchasing team.
• Create requisition (RQN), purchase orders (PO) and goods receipt notes (GRN); ensure vendor payments are processed on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance actions, inspections, and troubleshooting results; produce daily reports for internal teams.
• Collaborate with operations to plan and prioritize daily maintenance tasks and support operational efficiency.
• Ensure all activities meet statutory, HSSE and environmental compliance requirements.
• Interpret technical documents such as electrical schematics, fluid diagrams and piping drawings to diagnose issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintenance of container handling and material handling equipment.
• Strong understanding of HSSE regulations and ability to follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Experience in inventory management, procurement processes and vendor coordination.
• Ability to work closely with operations and engineering teams to schedule tasks.
