Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads all housekeeping operations at CGH Earth Experience Hotels in Kumbakonam. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures rooms and public areas meet the brand’s high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sustainability while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise housekeeping staff to achieve daily cleaning targets.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, corridors and public spaces to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Oversee laundry operations, managing linen inventory, turnaround times and quality control.
• Coordinate with front‑office, maintenance and food‑and‑beverage teams to ensure seamless hotel operations.
• Develop, deliver and monitor training programmes for housekeeping personnel.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, stock levels and procurement in line with sustainable practices.
• Implement and uphold hygiene, safety and environmental sustainability procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a comparable supervisory role.
• Strong organisational and scheduling abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with staff, management and guests.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of laundry processes, hygiene standards and eco‑friendly housekeeping practices.
• Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
