Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads daily housekeeping, recreation/health club and laundry operations at a busy hotel in Bengaluru. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures guest rooms, public areas and employee zones are clean, well‑maintained and delivered to the highest standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all housekeeping shift activities, coordinate with Front Desk and Engineering to communicate room status and maintenance needs.
• Manage the general cleaning schedule, assign work based on room turnover lists, and maintain inventory of supplies, linens and uniforms.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces, enforce corrective actions and uphold housekeeping policies.
• Control departmental expenses, monitor budgets, payroll and purchasing to meet or exceed financial targets.
• Address guest complaints promptly, drive continuous improvement in service quality and empower staff to deliver exceptional hospitality.
• Participate in HR functions such as staffing, accident investigations and disciplinary processes, ensuring fair application of policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of housekeeping or related experience, **or** a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no experience required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team.
