Executive – Finance & Retail Operations

About the role

The Executive will manage front‑line sales transactions while supporting finance and accounts receivable processes. This hybrid role combines retail point‑of‑sale duties with client‑focused financial operations within the UK market.

Key responsibilities

• Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using EPOS systems.
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, vouchers and contactless payments, issue receipts, refunds or exchanges.
• Maintain a tidy checkout area and provide courteous customer service.
• Monitor till discrepancies, report irregularities and support opening/closing procedures.
• Assist with shelf restocking and store presentation as needed.
• Liaise with bureau and non‑bureau brokers to arrange payments, collect documents and resolve deficiencies.
• Escalate process‑related issues to internal and external teams and contribute to training curriculum updates.

Required profile

• B.Com or B.Com (Hons) graduate.
• Minimum 1 year experience for Executive (2 + years for Senior Executive).
• Client‑management experience with strong written and verbal communication.
• High numerical accuracy, attention to detail and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of basic accounts and finance.
• Understanding of Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) cycle, accounts receivable and cash applications.
• Familiarity with the UK market – bureau, non‑bureau, Lloyds and London market.
• Proficiency with till/EPOS systems and basic IT literacy.
