Executive – Engineering Stores (Mundra)

About the role

The Executive – Engineering Stores is responsible for day‑to‑day store operations at the Mundra port terminal. This includes receipt, storage, preservation, issue and documentation of engineering materials, spare parts, consumables and fuel. The role ensures timely material availability for Engineering Maintenance while maintaining accurate inventory records and complying with Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE) and supply‑chain security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, unload and store engineering materials, spare parts, consumables and tools against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and perform ERP transactions following established procedures.
• Maintain proper binning, labeling, preservation, housekeeping and safety of all stored items.
• Support cycle counting, perpetual inventory verification and annual stock‑taking activities.
• Issue stock and non‑stock materials in line with approved procedures and authorization limits.
• Manage gate pass documentation for movement of materials, tools and equipment.
• Assist in diesel fuel receipt, record fuel transactions and support daily fuel reconciliation.
• Record all inventory transactions accurately in the ERP system and ensure documentation is audit‑ready.
• Comply with QHSE and supply‑chain security standards, support hazardous waste segregation and participate in safety inspections and audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in store or warehouse operations within an industrial, port or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, material handling and documentation procedures.
• Familiarity with QHSE regulations and supply‑chain security requirements.
• Ability to work closely with Engineering Maintenance, Procurement, Finance and Operations teams.
