Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Automotive

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a leading automotive organization based in Pune. The role will shape long‑term strategy, drive profitability and position the company as a market leader in the evolving automotive landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a strategic vision that delivers sustainable growth.
• Oversee full P&L responsibility, business operations and financial performance.
• Lead innovation, technology integration and transformation across the automotive value chain.
• Drive expansion into new markets, products and strategic partnerships.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing leadership team and foster a culture of excellence.
• Strengthen relationships with investors, customers, regulators and strategic partners.
• Ensure robust governance, compliance and risk‑management frameworks.

Required profile

• 20+ years of experience in automotive, engineering or manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a CXO or Executive Director role.
• Proven track record of scaling businesses, operational excellence and P&L management.
• Deep knowledge of automotive trends such as EVs, mobility solutions, digitalisation and sustainability.
• Inspirational leadership with ability to manage change, build teams and deliver results.
• International exposure and experience with global markets and partnerships is a plus.
