Laboratory Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Laboratory Operations Manager to lead our Pune laboratory. The role involves overseeing daily testing, inspection and certification activities, ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, allocate and monitor resources to meet service delivery targets.
• Supervise, mentor and develop a diverse technical team.
• Review and approve test reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Interact with clients to understand technical requirements and support audits.
• Drive process improvements and track key performance indicators.
• Maintain documentation control and coordinate with QA, business development and compliance functions.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management experience in laboratory or testing environments.
• Background in industries such as automotive, electrical, food, pharma, minerals or packaging.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and certification requirements for analytical testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management or related field.
