Executive – Branch Operations (Express Logistics)

About the role

The Executive – Branch Operations role is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day logistics activities across multiple locations. You will manage loading and unloading operations, route planning, vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with warehousing and shipping regulations while maintaining high customer service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical loading and unloading of trucks and containers, and sort documents and parcels for optimal delivery flow.
• Plan and reprioritise routes to meet customer time‑windows and productivity targets.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle checks and complete inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with state and local warehousing, material handling and shipping legislation.
• Accurately complete and audit delivery records, pick‑up manifests, customs paperwork and other required documents.
• Scan, record and transfer data using defined tools for performance tracking and compliance.
• Maintain vehicle and package security by following safety and security procedures.
• Handle customer queries, resolve issues or escalate when necessary.
• Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile with system data.
• Manage personal time effectively to meet all KPIs and operational requirements.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate degree.
• 5–8 years of experience managing a warehouse or logistics operation.
• Proven supervision experience and ability to develop budgets, safety standards and operational processes.
• Strong skills in inventory control, reporting, data analysis and equipment maintenance.
• Good judgment, proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
