Executive - Branch Operations - Express Logistics

About the role

The Executive – Branch Operations will oversee daily logistics activities across multiple locations, ensuring efficient loading, unloading, routing and documentation for express shipments. This role combines hands‑on operational work with strategic planning to meet customer time‑windows and productivity targets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical loading and unloading of trucks and containers, and sort documents and parcels for optimal delivery flow.
• Plan and reprioritise routes, balancing stops with the pickup coordinator to meet defined productivity goals.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and prepare inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with state and local warehousing, material‑handling and shipping regulations.
• Accurately complete and audit delivery records, pick‑up manifests, customs paperwork and other required documents.
• Use defined tools to scan, record and transfer data for performance tracking and compliance.
• Maintain vehicle and package security by following safety and security procedures.
• Handle customer queries, resolve issues or escalate when necessary.
• Identify revenue‑generation and customer‑satisfaction opportunities, including sales and automation prospects.
• Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile with system data and ensure stock accuracy.
• Manage personal time effectively, prioritize tasks and support team objectives to achieve 100% KPI targets.

Required profile

• Graduate or Post‑Graduate degree.
• 5‑8 years of experience managing warehouse or logistics operations.
• Proven supervision, budgeting, safety management and process‑development skills.
• Strong inventory control, reporting and analytical abilities.
• Equipment maintenance knowledge and sound judgment.
• Team‑player attitude with a proactive mindset.
