Executive Assurance – TMT Services (Pune)

About the role

EY is seeking an Executive in Assurance to join its TMT services team in Pune. The role involves supporting audit engagements, performing substantive testing, and contributing to the delivery of high‑quality assurance services for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify accounting and auditing issues and collaborate with audit in‑charge to resolve them.
• Execute substantive testing in line with the assurance plan and document all work performed.
• Suggest improvements to control systems and procedures.
• Prepare and present audit reports highlighting key recommendations.
• Maintain statutory books of accounts, reconcile receivables and payables, and assist in finalisation of accounts.
• Support senior staff in reviewing financial statements and drafting management comment and representation letters.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 0‑3 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of assurance and accounting standards and prior exposure to statutory audit assignments.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines and work in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive team player with a flexible, result‑oriented approach.
