EWM Technical Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Technical Consultant to lead technical design and development for our customers. The role involves translating business requirements into SAP EWM solutions, guiding development teams and ensuring successful delivery of end‑to‑end warehouse management projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct requirement‑gathering workshops and convert business needs into SAP EWM processes.
• Design and document technical solutions, including ABAP developments, BAPIs, BADIs, enhancements and user exits.
• Lead development, integration and testing activities for decentralized or embedded EWM on S/4HANA.
• Evaluate existing applications, propose enhancements and implement new features.
• Drive data migration, cut‑over and post‑go‑live support.
• Mentor junior consultants, perform code reviews and ensure best‑practice coding standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain or related field.
• 10‑15 years of overall SAP experience with at least 8 years of hands‑on SAP EWM technical development.
• Minimum two full‑cycle EWM implementations (decentralized or embedded).
• Proven experience leading technical teams and handling integration projects with external systems (TMS, MES, WMS, automation).
