Events Services Manager

About the role

The Events Services Manager acts as the main liaison between Arlo Hotels and clients after event contracts are signed. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of meetings, weddings, and social events, ensuring seamless communication across all hotel departments and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients after contracts, building strong relationships with meeting planners and corporate clients.
• Conduct pre‑convention meetings, site visits, and review event requirements with clients.
• Develop detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), event resumes, and floor plans; coordinate room setups, audiovisual needs, catering, guest‑room blocks, transportation, and special requests.
• Lead weekly BEO and operations meetings with department heads to ensure accurate communication of event specifications.
• Act as on‑site manager during events, anticipating client needs, handling last‑minute changes, and ensuring brand standards are met.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other teams to deliver flawless events.
• Perform post‑event follow‑up to gauge client satisfaction and identify future business opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience managing events, meetings, weddings, or social functions in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships throughout the event lifecycle.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple departments and handle detailed event documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for conducting client meetings, site visits, and internal briefings.
