Events Executive

About the role

Accor is looking for an entry‑level Events Executive to oversee the planning and execution of conferences and hotel events. The role acts as the main liaison between Banquets, Sales and customers, ensuring a seamless, high‑quality experience from booking to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Execute events according to Accor’s Events/F&B standard operating procedures and identify upselling opportunities.
• Assign events to the Event Planning team and coordinate daily conference meetings, 10‑day reviews and room‑block reviews.
• Maintain function‑space and group‑room inventories to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Develop catering menus in collaboration with the culinary team.
• Prepare and review Event Orders (EOs) to ensure all details are captured for smooth operations.
• Manage customer budgets, optimise revenue and ensure cost‑effective delivery.
• Review staffing levels and coordinate with operations to meet service requirements.
• Lead the implementation of safety and emergency procedures and train staff accordingly.
• Proactively troubleshoot potential conflicts and communicate solutions across hotel departments.

Required profile

• Motivated graduate or early‑career professional with a strong interest in hospitality events.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, able to work with multiple internal teams.
• Ability to manage budgets and handle high‑profile groups where financial impact is significant.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a drive to deliver outstanding service.
• Flexibility to work on‑site in a hotel environment and adapt to changing event requirements.
