Estimator I – Marine Platforms

About the role

As an Estimator I at Honeywell you will support the development of project estimates for Marine Platforms, preparing high‑quality responses to customer RFPs for both global and domestic markets. The role contributes to the company’s growth by delivering accurate, competitive proposals and managing the associated documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Capture proposals and estimates within CPQ following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Prepare complete cost estimates and proposals within required timelines.
• Study RFQs and customer drawings to propose technical and commercial solutions.
• Identify third‑party packages, engage Procurement, and obtain technical and commercial offers.
• Evaluate offers from vendors and Honeywell business units, and compile full proposals.
• Respond to post‑proposal technical queries and update proposals as needed.
• Prepare booking packages and manage order booking in SAP through to dispatch.
• Coordinate payment allocation with the C2C team and follow up on overdue payments.
• Promote collaboration, share best practices, and stay updated on new Honeywell product releases.

Required profile

• Experience in preparing cost estimates and technical proposals for marine platform projects.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams including sales, operations, and procurement.
• Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures for proposal development.

Required skills

• CPQ (Configure‑Price‑Quote) system.
• SAP order management.
