ESG Intern

About the role

We are looking for an ESG Intern who is genuinely curious about sustainability and wants to work on real initiatives that shape how our solar business operates responsibly. You will join our Environmental, Social, and Governance team in Gurugram and help turn data and insights into actionable ESG strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse data on energy use, water consumption, emissions, community programs, diversity initiatives, compliance and health‑and‑safety metrics.
• Research ESG trends, regulations and best practices, and benchmark our performance against peers.
• Support ESG strategy discussions by contributing fresh ideas and perspectives.
• Assist in preparing ESG reports, investor materials and sustainability content that translate complex data into clear stories.
• Participate in ESG projects and events from concept through delivery, collaborating with Finance, People & Culture, Marketing and Asset Management.
• Maintain KPI trackers and create presentations for training sessions and investor‑facing topics.

• Creative, independent thinker who questions assumptions and brings original ideas.
• Genuinely passionate about sustainability and its environmental and social impact.
• Curious fast learner who proactively seeks answers and new tools.
• Clear communicator able to translate technical findings for non‑experts.
