Equity Confirmations Drafting Specialist

About the role

Delta Capita’s Post Trade Services division is seeking an Equity Confirmations Drafting Specialist to join its OTC Equity Confirmations team in Bangalore. You will work closely with investment‑banking clients, internal risk, legal and trading teams to ensure accurate and timely confirmation of equity derivative transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and process confirmation requests for both vanilla and exotic equity derivative products.
• Mitigate risk by confirming OTC derivative transitions through paper or electronic workflows.
• Investigate and resolve trade confirmation language discrepancies and economic breaks.
• Collaborate with counterparties and internal stakeholders to clarify issues and draft points on outstanding confirmations.
• Create and maintain confirmation templates, obtaining necessary sales, trading and legal approvals.
• Support risk, legal and trading teams by proposing documentation solutions.
• Deliver strategic projects aimed at improving efficiency and control.
• Handle additional tasks as demanded by business needs.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in the structured products space, specifically with OTC equity structured products.
• Strong knowledge of the 2002 and 2006 ISDA Equity and Swap Definitions and related terms.
• Familiarity with key economic and non‑economic terms used in confirmation documentation.
• Front‑to‑back understanding of the confirmations drafting process.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
